We have completely re-done the cutting pen and the holding pens. It was a huge job, and many thanks to all who helped - Courtney, Mike, Graham, Heather, Cassie, Erin, Christy, Talma, Josette, Tammy, Ruben, Amy and CeCe. If I forgot anybody, I'm sorry - it wasn't on purpose! We're looking forward to perhaps some clinics and ranch cutting if they can be arranged . . .

The holding pens had to be re-done, also. Which meant we shuffled cows around while we tore down panels and moved them.

As we'd had 2.5" of rain in the previous week, rubber boots were a necessity. At least nobody got stuck.

Jem kept an eye on the cattle to make sure they all behaved themselves.

Looks great, doesn't it?

Then, of course, we had to christen it with a barbeque. It got dark fast, but we got a little one on one cutting in - some of it under the lights - and then ate hearty around the fire pit. Some of the pictures are a bit blurry and/or dark due to the failing light or plain old darkness.
